Hoodwinked Too! Music Video "Yeah You Know It"

So a few days ago, I posted about the advance screening of Hoodwinked Too. I got my nephew all excited to go see the film, then I let him down by getting sick! Poor kid. I did promise to take him after the movie opens in theaters on April 29th, so he's not that mad at me. Actually, he's a really cool kid and was more worried about me than anything else. He's so cool, in fact, that he totally enjoyed the Hoodwinked Too music video. Since I know that ya'll are super cool too, here is the video for your enjoyment!

Yes, I'm 44 and yes I still love animated films. Especially if the film contains a little something for everyone. I saw the 1st Hoodwinked when it came out a few years ago. I found it to be entertaining with jokes that are geared towards both kids and adults. Although we generally force ourselves to sit through kid flicks (anything for our kids), it's always nice when you can enjoy it too! Unlike the purple dinosaur!


Now there's a sequel. HOODWINKED TOO! HOOD VS. EVIL in 3D opens in theaters on April 29, 2011

Synopsis:

The good... the bad... the Twitchy. From the team that brought you HOODWINKED, the comedic portrayal of the fairy tale Red Riding Hood, comes the all-new animated family comedy HOODWINKED TOO! FREE Nook Books

They say that you learn something new everyday. Today was one of those days. And when what I learned involves free stuff, then it's a double whammy kind of day!

I bought my Nook last year. I have the regular, original one. I know that some people love the feel & smell of an actual book. I'm not one of them. Actually, I don't usually go around sniffing books either.
I love everything about my Nook. It's easy on the eyes since it uses e-ink technology. I can make the font larger which helps my aging eyes. I can carry a gazillion books on board the plane without adding extra baggage fees. I can sit on the beach, under my umbrella with a froo-froo drink in one hand and my Nook in the other, and I can still turn the pages. I can go on & on. But let me just go straight to the "Free" part. One great perk. is the fact that Barnes & Noble offers free e-books.

If you know me, you know that I love FREE! Not only do they have Free Fridays, where they offer one or sometimes two, free e-books, but they also have a separate category on their website for free Nook books. Under that category, you get 5 pages with about 100 free titles. That's all well & good right?

Well, today, I discovered a way to find even more free selections. Forget typing FREE in the search box, that will only bring up a couple of extra selections. The secret is typing 0.00 in the search box! Easy as that! You will be shown 1830871 results for 0.00. You can also narrow it down by choosing a genre on the left hand side. Just click on Nook books under Category. I don't know if I will ever make it through all those, but I sure intend to try!

Pick and choose what interests you. Be aware that some may be short stories or previews. You'll need to sift through it and weed out the duds. Ratings and reviews help too.You might also find an author that you really like. If you don't like a selection that you downloaded, delete it. You have nothing to lose. I'm sure that some people may already know about this, but I am sharing it anyways in case there are more out there like me!

REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: At Last Naturals

Hey Miami! We're going to be swirling!

We travel to California quite a bit. Every time we go, we stuff our faces with stuff that we do not have here. And they have lots of fantastic places! During our last visit, I had the delicious pleasure of trying some Pinkberry frozen yogurt. I only had it once, so I really can't really elaborate about it except to say that I REALLY liked it and was looking forward to when we visit California again. But guess what? I no longer have to travel over 3,000 miles to get my fix! It's coming to me! So there still may be hope for In-n-Out to make it to Miami too! (I doubt it, but a girl can dream!)
